The Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China released the China pharmaceutical distribution industry report of 2015 on June 3, 2016 in Beijing. The report summaries and analyses the pharmaceutical distribution industrial scale, pharmaceutical wholesale and retail operations, as well as predicts the trends of industry development. In terms of the summary of pharmaceutical distribution main business income in the report, China Resources Pharmaceutical Commercial Group, a wholly own subsidiary of CR Pharma, continued to rank second in the PRC pharmaceutical distribution business in 2015.
In 2015, Chinese pharmaceutical distribution market will continue growing in a declining growth rate. According to statistic data of the Ministry of Commerce, the total sale of the top 7 categories of pharmaceutical products is RMB 16,613 billion, 10.2% increased compared to last year, while the total sale of pharmaceutical retail market is RMB 3,323 billion, 8.6% increased compared to last year.
Facing the situation of economic downturn, declining growth rate of China pharmaceutical industry and increasing external competition, China Resource Pharmaceutical Commercial Group will continue focus on connotation of development, expand distribution business areas, improve coverage of national distribution network, diversify pharmaceutical product portfolio and develop integrated business model such as HLI and NHLI, in order to maintain the market-leading positions in China pharmaceutical distribution industry.
